It is with great sadness that we have heard of the recent death of our friend and colleague Prof Giuseppe De Palo of Milan, Italy who served with great distinction as President of IFCPC between 2002-2005. We will be posting a full obituary as testimony to his contributions to the care of women shortly. Our thoughts at this time are with his family, friends and colleagues.
President of IFCPC
Santiago Dexeus who succeed Prof De Palo as President of IFCPC writes:
Giuseppe De Palo devoted his whole life to study “ The Lower Genital Tract Pathology”. His text which was written by himself and in collaboration with Santiago Dexeus and W. Chanen, has been a fundamental shift for everyone who wants to begin in women’s pathology. He was a lovely man, he took care of his friends but above all this, he was a Scientist who looked always for the Truth. We’ll have an indelible memory of him and his death is already a great loss for us.”
